About Us
Welcome to Bruno and Zoey, a place where love for pets and the joy they bring to our lives is at the heart of everything we do. Our journey began with a dog who wasn’t just a pet, but a member of our family—Bruno.
In July of 2016, we adopted Bruno as a puppy. Just months later, we welcomed our first child Giovanni. Shortly after that (10 months later to be exact) we welcomed our second child, Giuliana. We were a family of five. Giovanni and Giuliana grew up alongside Bruno, a majestic pit-bull with light green eyes, a radiant smile, and a golden colored coat, that seemed to shimmer in the sun. Bruno’s playful spirit and gentle nature made him a beloved companion, and from the day he entered our lives, he became a constant presence of joy and love.
Bruno was more than just a dog. He was there through every laugh, every tear, and every milestone. He was the lap dog who showered us with love, a friend who turned every day into an adventure. Whether he was chasing toys or curling up for cozy movie nights, Bruno’s love and loyalty filled our home with warmth and laughter.
Sadly, when Giovanni was seven and Giuliana was just six, Bruno was diagnosed with lymphoma. Despite our best efforts and the love surrounding him, Bruno left us too soon, and our hearts were shattered in February of 2023. For two long years, we grieved the loss of our beloved companion, keeping his memory alive through shared stories and fond moments. But the house felt empty without his joyful presence.
As the holidays approached, our family knew it was time to begin healing. In the spirit of renewal, we gently introduced the idea of welcoming a new furry friend. The timing felt right, and with open hearts, Giovanni and Giuliana agreed...
December 2024, two years almost to the day since we learned of Bruno’s illness, we gathered around the Christmas tree. Excitement finally once more was buzzing in the air. We asked our children to close their eyes. When they uncovered them, a small wiggly bundle of fur ran towards them, their hearts soared. “A puppy!” “Is it real?” “We get to keep it?” the kids asked us. They were shocked and bursting with joy! We named her Zoey Noelle, and from the moment she entered our lives, something magical happened. Zoey had a playful spirit and had a knack for stealing kisses, just like Bruno! From the moment she arrived, she filled our home with laughter, and her playful nature reminds us of Bruno everyday.
While Bruno will always hold a special place in our hearts, with Zoey, our family rediscovered joy. The laughter returned, and the house once again felt alive. We cherish both the memories of Bruno and the new adventures with Zoey, knowing that love continues to grow, even through loss. Zoey was here to help us heal and create new memories filled with joy and love ❤️
Bruno’s legacy lives on in every wag of Zoey’s tail and in the love we share with her. At Bruno and Zoey, we honor the bond between pets and their families and the unconditional love they give.
